On Febrary 29, three Bay Area writers will discuss and offer audio/visual clips of what's on the cutting edge of anime, manga, noise music, and cult cinema in Japan. Join CARL GUSTAV HORN on anime and manga, MASON JONES on music, PATRICK MACIAS on cult film, and as moderator, SATORU FUJII, Co-founder Cadence Books and Viz Comics, all collaborators on a unique guide to mainstream popular culture alternatives. The reception will start at 6:00 p.m., with the main program starting at 6:30 p.m.
