Anime News Service is reporting that Detective Conan's Japanese license holders, TMS (Tokyo Movie Shinsha), have stated that Fox Family does not have the broadcast rights to the Conan TV series.
Last year, it was widely reported that Detective Conan was heading to Fox Family this year. However, it appears the decision to cancel the broadcast is due to the violent content in the series.
