Reacting to complaints that the English subtitles on the recently released Moldiver DVDs are out of synch, Pioneer Entertainment has stated that the problem is due to the fact that the "subtitles" are actually the close captioned titles for the English dub.
It seems that during production Pioneer discovered that The subtitling company no longer had the subtitles for the show, and so they were forced to use the closed caption file to recreate as closely as possible.
