Second season to air in January
Production I.G officially announced today the production of a further 26 episodes of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG is set to air on Sky Perfect TV pay per view starting in January, at a rate of 2 episodes per month.
As with the first season, some "Complex" episodes will be a part of the primary story arc and others will be "Stand Alone" episodes.
The extension to 52 episodes was first mentioned by Bandai Entertainment at Otakon, but this marks the first official announcement from Production I.G
