New Clannad, Da Capo, Jinno Manga to Launch in Japan
posté à par Egan Loo
The Japanese publisher Fujimi Shobo has announced that it will launch manga based on the bee-be-beat it! prose novel, the Clannad visual novel franchise, and the D.C. ~Da Capo~ the Origin visual novel software in this year's ninth issue (on sale on February 20) of Dragon Edge Pure magazine. Manga artist Arima Honda will adapt Masaki Jinno's bee-be-beat it! novel, the first one written by this scriptwriter for the (unrelated) Nanatsuiro Drops visual novel. Dragon Edge Pure already publishes the bee-be-beat it! novel version. Japan's Geneon Entertainment helped produce the Nanatsuiro Drops anime last year, but no announcement has been made of an English release.
Yukiko Sumiyoshi will draw Clannad ~tomoyo dearest~, the latest manga based on the visual novels from the veteran studio Key. In the same Dragon Edge Pure magazine, Sumiyoshi also drew Tomoyo After ~Dear Shining Memories~, another game-based manga that centers on Clannad's Tomoyo character. The Clannad television anime version happens to be airing in Japan right now.
Mimei Kuroi is serializing a manga based on another visual novel, D.C. ~Da Capo~ the Origin from Circus. The second season of the second Da Capo anime series will start this April.
