October anime about onion-head samurai's journeys across historical Japan
The Toei Animation company announced on its website that it is animating Kazuyoshi Īno's Negibōzu no Asatarō picture books for Japanese television starting this October 12. The books center around a samurai named Asatarō who happens to be an onion head (negibōzu). Asatarō journeys across historical Japan as he battle evildoers. The seventh book in the series will ship this Wednesday.
