Red Ant Enterprises enters into receivership

Last Friday, the 16th of January 2009, Red Ant Entertainment appointed administrators for their business.
Red Ant were the Australian distributor for CAPCOM, Midway, Bethesda and beginning from last October, Konami as well as a variety of budget titles. Though last year they moved to distributing movies and anime on DVD. Their anime titles included Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, Oh! Edo Rocket and Perfect Blue. We currently do not know the effect this will have on the distribution of the aforementioned titles. Further information can be found at Screen Play Blog and the ASIC.
