Angel Beats, Shiki Anime Promo Videos Streamed

The official website for Visual Art's/Key and Aniplex's Angel Beats! television anime series has begun streaming its sixth promotional video on Tuesday. Unlike the previous videos, the new 142-second video contains anime footage. The P.A. Works anime studio (CANAAN, True Tears) is producing the project. Seiji Kishi (Magikano, My Bride is a Mermaid, Tentai Senshi Sunred) is directing off a story created by Jun Maeda. Katsuzo Hirata (Cosplay Complex, Hand Maid May) is overseeing the animation and adapting the original character designs by Na-Ga. Satoki Iida (Magikano, My Bride is a Mermaid, Tentai Senshi Sunred) is the sound director.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Fuyumi Ono and Ryū Fujisaki's Shiki horror mystery manga has begun streaming a 93-second promotional video, although it contains no anime footage. The story revolves around an isolated mountain village, steeped in ancient traditions, whose population of 1,300 starts dying in droves due to mysterious causes. Eventually, it becomes clear that vampires are attacking the town. Ono had previously written the original novels for The Twelve Kingdoms and Ghost Hunt, while Fujisaki is best known for drawing the Hoshin Engi/Soul Hunter manga.
