Eva Voice Actress Megumi Ogata to Perform at CNAnime

Voice actress and singer Megumi Ogata will appear at Fan Expo Canada's CNAnime event, where she will perform a concert in Toronto on August 28 to promote her CD, 666. Ogata's voice acting career includes the role of Shinji Ikari in the Neon Genesis Evangelion television series and films, as well as Sailor Moon's Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus, Yū Yū Hakusho's Kurama, and Angel Beats!'s Ayato Naoi. Ogata established a singing career with her debut album in 1994, often performing under the name em:ou or M.O.

FanExpo Canada will take place from August 27 to August 29 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. The event is split into five separate sections: Comic Books, Sci-Fi, Horror, Gaming, and Anime, which also referred to as "CNAnime." Previously announced anime guests include artist Yoshitaka Amano in his Canadian debut and voice actors Vic Mignogna, Johnny Yong Bosch, and Brad Swaile.
