Linebarrels of Iron to Be Involved in 'Big Project' (Updated)

The October issue of Akita Shoten's Monthly Champion RED magazine has announced on Thursday that the Linebarrels of Iron franchise "is taking part in a big project." The announcement did not state the nature of the project, and it is not necessarily anime. More details will be provided in the next issue on September 18. Tomohiro Shimoguchi and Eiichi Shimizu's Linebarrels of Iron manga runs in the magazine, and that manga inspired Gonzo's 2008 anime adaptation.

Update: An advertisement for the November 25 release of the Super Robot Wars L game for the Nintendo DS portable console indicates that Linebarrels of Iron will be in the game. [Via 2ch.net]
