The three anime were originally scheduled for release in November and December, but were pushed back to February 15, 2012.

Tetsuya Takeuchi is directing, designing, and storyboarding the anime adaptation of kashmir's Yuri Seijin Naoko-san manga. The manga series premiered in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in 2005.

The Minori Scramble! anime is based on Mikage Chihaya's manga. Takuya Nonaka (Armitage: Dual-Matrix, Coyote Ragtime Show, Dokkoida?!, The Garden of Sinners' second film) is directing. Houbunsha began publishing the manga in Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine in 2008.

Takayuki Hirao (Futakoi Alternative, The Garden of Sinners' fifth film), director of the anime adaptation of Junji Ito's Gyo manga, has stated the project was planned to be 30 minutes long but it has since grown to over 60. Big Comics published two compiled volumes of the manga series in 2002, and Viz Media released them in North America.
