After School Midnighters CG Film's Teasers Streamed

The official Facebook page for the Hōkago Midnighters (After School Midnighters) CG anime film began streaming two teaser videos this week. The film's official website also began streaming a 51-second trailer last month. In the slapstick comedy story, a human anatomical model comes to life at midnight in a science classroom at an elite elementary school.
Hitoshi Takekiyo directed the original 2007 CG anime short After School Midnight (Hōkago Midnight) that was well-received in Japan and in international film festivals. He is returning to direct the remake at the studio Koo-Ki. Yōichi Komori (Umizaru manga collaborator) is writing the new film.
The Japanese film distributor T-Joy will release Hōkago Midnighters in Japan this summer. The entire original short is available from the AnimeTunes Vol. 1 app for iPhone and iPad devices.
