Sentai Filmworks Recalls Kids on the Slope BD Release

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks confirmed with ANN on Monday that it is recalling its complete Blu-ray Disc collection of the Kids on the Slope television anime series. The series was scheduled to ship on Tuesday. Retailer Right Stuf is listing that the cause of the recall is that during the 11th episode the Japanese language track features only mono audio.
Right Stuf has put a hold on shipping out the release, but noted that some sets were shipped to customers before Right Stuf received notice of the recall. Right Stuf said it will have a form up on its website within the next few days for those who have already received the set with instructions on how to return the disc. Right Stuf said it will ship out copies of the corrected disc when they are made available.
Sentai Filmworks noted that new discs are being replicated now.
