Psycho-Pass Manga About Akane Has 380,000 Copies in Print

The wraparound jacket band around the third volume of Hikaru Miyoshi's Kanshikan Tsunemori Akane (Inspector Akane Tsunemori) manga announced on Friday that the manga has over 380,000 copies in print.
The manga is a spinoff of the Psycho-Pass anime, and began running in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in its December 2012 issue. The psychological action anime debuted in Japan last October. Funimation streamed the first season as it aired in Japan, and confirmed in March that it will release the season on Blu-ray Disc and DVD next spring. In addition to the second season of the anime, production of a film is also underway.
