New Releases Reported in Neo Magazine

The latest issue of Neo magazine (Issue 119) reports the following upcoming releases:

The 1996 fantasy anime series The Vision of Escaflowne (pictured right) will receive a new release from Anime Limited in the fourth quarter of 2014, in Ultimate Collector's Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray and DVD editions.

Hal, a film by Studio Wit (Attack on Titan) about an android sent to help a grieving girl, will be released by Anime Limited "in the latter half of 2014." (Pictured left.)

Of the label's other releases, Durarara!! is scheduled for March, and both Nerima Daikon Brothers and Gurren Lagann are scheduled for April.

The home release of the new series Space Dandy will be "in time for MCM London Comic Con in October." Samurai Flamenco will appear on Blu-ray "towards the end of 2014."

Anime Limited is also still planning theatrical releases of Patema Inverted and A Letter to Momo.

Manga Entertainment listed the feature film version of Blue Exorcist among its upcoming titles. "Other new series to be released by Manga in the new year care of Funimation include Psycho-Pass, Robotics;Notes, Karneval (and) Jormungand Seasons one and two."

Additionally, Neo reports that Manga will release the first Fairy Tail feature film, Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess, on both DVD and Blu-ray.

Manga will also release another four One Piece collections in 2014, and 52 further episodes of Naruto Shippūden. Neo also reports that 'Manga is re-releasing the original Naruto on DVD starting in January.'

The first live-action Rurouni Kenshin film is due from Warner Brothers on DVD and Blu-ray on February 10.
