Nisekoi Manga #14 to Bundle Original Video Anime

This year's 25th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Naoshi Komi's 14th Nisekoi manga volume will bundle an original video anime (OVA). The 25-minute OVA will adapt two chapters from the manga: chapter 58 "Funshitsu" (in the manga's seventh volume) and chapter 64 "Mikosan" (in the eighth volume).

Chief director Akiyuki Shinbo, director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama, the anime studio SHAFT, and the main cast are all returning for the OVA after working on the television anime. The October 3 bundle will include a jacket with an exclusive illustration, a special booklet, a new Weiss Schwarz PR card, a code for a limited costume in Nisekoi Majikore!?, and a 2015 mini calendar card.

The manga and anime revolve around Raku Ichijō (Kōki Uchiyama), a normal high school student who happens to be the heir to a yakuza group. The attractive but violent transfer student Chitoge Kirisaki (Nao Tōyama), the heir to a rival yakuza group, transfers to his class, and the two must pretend to date to keep a war from breaking out between their families.

Viz Media is releasing the original manga digitally and in print. Aniplex of America plans to release the television anime series on home video, and Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan.
