3rd Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin Film Opens Friday

Warner Brothers UK will release Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends on Friday April 17. This is the third and last of the live-action films based on the samurai manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki. The venues are 'Cineworld' cinemas, listing screenings until Thursday April 23.

Cineworld Bolton, daily screenings at 7.20 p.m.

Cineworld Cardiff, daily screenings at 7.20 p.m.

Cineworld Crawley, daily screenings at 8.50 p.m. (except Thursday 23rd)

Cineworld Enfield, daily screenings at 8.30 p.m., except for Thursday 23rd when it will be shown at 7.50 p.m.

Cineworld Glasgow Renfrew St. - on April 17 to 19, there will be daily screenings at 8.40 p.m. On April 20 to 22, there will be two screenings each day, at 1.15 p.m. and 8.40 p.m. On Thursday April 23, there will be a screening at 5 p.m.

Cineworld Sheffield, daily screenings at 7.30 p.m., except for Thursday 23rd when it will be shown at 6.20 p.m.

Cineworld Stevenage, daily screenings at 8.10 p.m. except for Thursday 23rd when it will be shown twice at 12.40 p.m. (lunchtime) and 8.40 p.m.

Cineworld West India Quay, daily screenings at 8.15 p.m., except for Thursday 23rd when it will be shown at 6 p.m.

Warner Brothers describes the story as follows:

In the final chapter, Shishio (Tatsya Fujiwara) has set sail in his ironclad ship to bring down the Meiji government and return Japan to chaos, carrying Kaoru (Emi Takei) with him. After jumping overboard into the sea, Kenshin (Takeru Satō) is saved by his former mentor, Hiko Seijuro (Masaharu Fukuyama) and in order to stop Shishio in time, Kenshin enlists the help of his old master to train for the ultimate battle between hero and villain in an epic blood-drenched showdown.
